Introducing Stephanie Bennett, BFA, Calgary Modern Furniture Designer
Calgary, Alberta – Jeff Stoner, Managing Partner at Revolve Furnishings is excited to announce the launch of the very first episode of their Meet the Designer video series, featuring Stephanie Bennett, BFA, Lead Designer at Revolve Furnishings. Bennett’s Meet the Designer video focuses on the designers style and preferences so that clients may gain a better understanding of what type of interior designer she is.
“I love being an interior designer,” commented Stephanie Bennett, BFA, Lead Designer, Revolve Furnishings. “Working with our clients is the best part about being here at Revolve, but I also love that interior design is both creative and analytical. It’s an art, really, trying to find the right combination between functionality and aesthetics.”
Bennett has been with Revolve for over five years, and received her Interior Design Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Diploma for Interior Design during her educational endeavours. When asked about a specific design style, Bennett claims that she doesn’t have a specific design style, but loves to throw unexpected pieces into her spaces. Bennett also mentioned that she approaches design in a methodological approach, as she likes to know measurements, which fabrics are already in a particular space, and also where the lighting comes from.
“Communication is essential, and you have to understand your client’s needs and personality,” said Bennett. “You have to remember that there is no hard and fast rule of design. There are rules, but you need to break them in order to have some fun with your space.”
